Description

We all know the amount of water in the soil is of vital importance for the well being and care of your plants. The BINDELO® SL900SM is a wireless sensor that measures the amount of water available in the soil for your plants.  It measures on a scale of 0 to 10 the amount of water available in the soil for your plants.  0 is totally dry, less than 3 is considerably dry, between 4 and 7 is the sweet spot for most plants, and from 8 to 10 it can be considered that there is excess water in the soil. The moisture scale is automatically adjusted to the conditions of the soil, every time the batteries are removed the scale is reset so the next time the sensor is turned on again it will automatically find what is the dryest and wet values.

This sensor will also measure the conductivity of the soil using a 1kHz signal to bring a uS/cm reading, very useful to determ the quality of the soil in terms of nutrients.
This sensor requires a BINDELO® SL900-Collector to send the data to the BINDELO®  Platform.  This is where the collected records are converted into reports that present the information in a clear and intuitive way. It is also possible to create events based on the conditions reported by the sensor that generate notifications to users.
Its compact size makes it very easy to use in small plant pots, gardens, greenhouses or crops. Only 9 x 3.6 x 3.3 cm and the test probe stretching 21.5cm. With two AAA batteries, this sensor can send readings for months.
